Episode Context

Sitting at the near-midpoint of a 25-episode season, Episode 12 pivots from the preceding growth and training-focused arc into a stretch of escalating external conflict, testing everything Makoto and his companions have developed. It serves as a critical bridge episode, resolving immediate large-scale threats while planting seeds for the upcoming academy festival arc and the broader societal dynamics that come with it. This is where Season 2 transitions from building power to wielding it under pressure.
