Delving into a dodgy area just to succeed? Pretty admirable, tbh. Gaku’s struggle vs. Haru’s thriving is funny as always. The glitz, the glamour, and the grit of this host club hustle makes this a solid ep! Trillion Game Inc. isn’t a low-effort grift. It’s built on GENIUS.

Lol they’re doing everything possible 😂 Haru is just shameless in the best way, dude will do anything to win. Proper smooth talker and scammer energy, but it works. Honestly kinda inspiring in a wild way. This anime is just consistently fun, good pacing and solid overall.

Episode Context

Trillion Game shifts gears into one of its most energetic settings yet as Haru and Gaku dive headfirst into the neon-drenched world of Kabukicho's host clubs. The episode leans heavily into the show's comedy-drama balance, using the chaotic nightlife district as both a playground and a proving ground for the duo's contrasting personalities. Expect fast-paced character work as both protagonists are forced out of their comfort zones, navigating social dynamics that no amount of tech savvy or bravado fully prepares them for. The tone is lively and occasionally absurd, but underneath the entertainment value lies a sharper edge, this is market research disguised as a night out. Madhouse delivers on atmosphere, capturing the sensory overload of Shinjuku's most infamous district with vivid detail and punchy pacing throughout.
