An amusement park date? Aww, how romantic! Except this is Trillion Game, and stuff like this is NEVER played straight. The fun vibes suddenly shifting into hair-raising tension is peak Trillion Game. Kirihime’s tactics in this ep made me smile. Gaku didn’t miss, either! Solid ep~

Where’s that early hype and rush? Last couple episodes feel mellow. Guess it’s Gaku’s development arc now. Animation’s still good, pacing slower—okayish episode.

Episode Context

Trillion Game shifts gears at its midseason point with an episode that trades boardroom intensity for something more personal and deceptively casual. Gaku Taira steps away from the usual high-stakes business arena and finds himself at an amusement park with Kirihime, a pairing that immediately raises questions about motive beneath the surface-level fun. The tone walks a careful line between genuine lightheartedness and quiet suspicion, every smile and shared moment carries the weight of possible ulterior motives. This is a character-driven installment that rewards attention to subtext over spectacle. Madhouse uses the amusement park setting to create visual contrast between carefree atmosphere and strategic tension simmering underneath. Expect a slower pace that prioritizes relationship dynamics and plants seeds rather than delivering explosive confrontations.
