Kedoin’s a fascinating fellow… his hidden past is so sad 🥺 That ossan can’t outgrift the greatest grifter though 🤣 That said, with their powers combined, they can create a new addition to the empire built on little lies. I love this episode’s villainous little team-up~

Wow things are heating up now 🔥 Kedoin’s past added nice depth and Haru is still out here doing insane stuff like it’s normal 😂 dude’s selfishness is on another level but he always delivers. That’s what makes him dangerous. Animation and pacing still perfect, really solid episo

Episode Context

The midseason mark delivers exactly the kind of high-stakes corporate chess match that Trillion Game does best. Episode 12 tightens the screws on the relationship between Haru Tennouji and Kedoin as they step into enemy territory, God Promotion, Kedoin's former employer, for a negotiation that carries real weight. The title says it all: this is an episode about two people who aren't playing nice, and the tension comes from watching their calculated moves unfold against opponents who know them too well. Madhouse leans into the drama with a measured, deliberate pace that rewards attention to dialogue and body language over spectacle. Themes of ambition, loyalty, and the razor-thin line between ally and adversary are front and center. A cerebral episode that sharpens the corporate conflict heading into the season's second half.
