A heartwarming look at Vash's younger years after the crash. I like that they take the time to delve how it wasn't easy to trust others at that point - it was really important to build that emotional investment in in order for us to feel immersed in this new narrative. It does pay off by the end, but it seems that this major flashback isn't quite over.
