Great Slice of Life mix between Little Mystery this eps. Not only Donation Box is Stolen in Hakurei Shrine but also Many Beverage and Book from Scarlet Devil Mansion, is intriguing to see what mystery to come in the next eps.On the side note this feel really different Fantasy Kaleidoscope which more focused on Action. I still love both of works, but we'll se then.

Episode Context

This fan-produced debut episode drops you straight into Gensokyo with a breezy, comedic energy that Touhou fans will immediately recognize. Reimu Hakurei anchors the story as the perpetually put-upon shrine maiden, bouncing off the carefree Suika Ibuki and the nosy journalist Aya Shameimaru in exchanges that prioritize charm over urgency. The pacing is deliberately relaxed, spending most of its runtime letting characters breathe and establishing the magical world rather than rushing toward conflict. A mystery element surfaces organically through festival preparations gone sideways, but the episode leans far more into whimsical slice-of-life territory than action. The fantasy atmosphere is rich, the humor is character-driven, and the tone makes it clear this is a love letter to the source material. Expect world-building and personality over spectacle.
