She teams up with Marisa Kirisame, a self-taught magician with a habit of "borrowing" things, and Aya Shameimaru, a tengu journalist who's way too eager for a scoop. Together they start pulling at threads that lead them through Gensokyo's strange and colorful cast of residents. This is a fan-made OVA from studio Maikaze, and the production quality is genuinely impressive for a doujin project. It captures the Touhou games' mix of whimsy and mystery really well. If you enjoyed the cozy supernatural atmosphere of The Everyday Tales of a Cat God or the puzzle-solving vibe of Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva, this hits a similar note.
