That storm + evacuation drill? Yeah nah, this is NOT just a drill. The whole episode feels like it’s hiding something. You can feel tension creeping in even when nothing is happening yet or that's just my trust issues LOL

This episode feels slower and more contained. Not much payoff yet but it’s clearly setting something up. Whether that payoff hits later kinda decides if this episode was worth it.

You go from literal life-or-death chaos to… bath scene and training vibes?? The tonal shift is kinda wild. It’s not bad, just jarring. Like the show is telling you “yeah that trauma? anyway, school time.” xD

Episode Context

Episode 12 marks the season's exact midpoint and functions as a deliberate cooldown after the students settled into shared living arrangements in Episode 11. The lighter tone gives the cast room to breathe before the narrative ramps back up, with the episode's closing moments teasing an upcoming Tokyo field trip that signals a significant shift in setting and stakes for the back half of the season.
