Shiki WONNN. His Flame Oni power isn’t just strong, it feels overwhelming. But what really hits is Tsubakiri’s backstory. You go from “this guy is insane” to… “okay, he’s still messed up, but now I get why.” It doesn’t excuse him though but sad

After all that chaos and Shiki collapsing, Kyoto basically destroyed, people dead and then… morning comes. That calm after everything? Slay xD

Yeah, they tried to humanize Tsubakiri but after everything he’s done? It’s hard to sympathize. The backstory is tragic, sure, but it feels like one of those “too late” moments. You understand him… but you’re not forgiving him LMAO

Episode Context

Sitting just past the season's midpoint at episode 11 of 24, this is a clear transitional chapter following the climactic intensity of Episode 10, 'Kishin's Child.' It functions as an emotional reset, grounding the characters and their relationships before the narrative escalates again with Episode 12, 'Day of the Storm,' which signals a return to high-stakes conflict. Essential connective tissue for the season's back half.
