Synopsis
Most guys at her school can't outlift Tomo Aizawa, who benches more than nearly all of them, throws punches without hesitation, and has been best friends with Junichirou Kubota since they were kids. She's also completely in love with him. The problem? Jun genuinely thinks of her as one of the boys. Like, fully. She confesses to him at the start of high school and he basically treats it like a bro moment. That's the setup for this 13-episode TV series, and it's honestly a great time. Tomo-chan Is a Girl follows Tomo as she tries to get Jun to see her as, well, a girl, with the help of her sharp-tongued best friend Misuzu, who has her own complicated history with Jun. The comedy lands because the show doesn't make Tomo change who she is; she's still loud, competitive, and stronger than half the cast. The tension comes from Jun slowly, painfully realizing what's been right in front of him the whole time. The vibe is warm and funny without dragging things out, which is refreshing for a romance anime. Lay-duce's animation keeps everything bright and expressive, and the pacing stays tight across the season. If you liked the mismatched energy of Lovely Complex or the slow-burn friendships in Toradora and Kimi ni Todoke, this hits a similar spot. It's lighter than those, but the character dynamics carry it. Good comfort watch, easy to finish in a weekend.

KAPAL SUDAH BERLAYARRRR. Nonton episode terakhir ini rasanya malah jadi malu-malu sendiri ngeliatin mereka berdua wkwk. Satu season yang menurutku bagus banget, plot nya enak diikutin, comedy nya dapet, dramanya juga gak terlalu berat. Penutup yang manis dan memuaskan. EPIC ROMCOM.
Episode udah masuk mode serius romance dan malu-malunya dapet banget sampe ke penonton wkwk. Chemistry mereka makin kerasa dan jalan ceritanya juga makin seru buat diikutin. Buat yang nunggu perkembangan hubungan mereka pasti senyum-senyum sendiri nonton episode iniiii.
Menurutku episode kali ini agak berbeda dibanding biasanya dan terasa lebih serius karena banyak berfokus pada sudut pandang Misuzu. Tapi justru disini karakter Misuzu jadi lebih dikupas dan kita bisa lebih memahami cara dia berpikir.
Episode ini bagus banget. Menurutku banyak hal dari episode-episode sebelumnya yang jadi lebih jelas setelah nonton episode ini. Cerita masa lalunya disampaikan dengan baik, seru buat disimak, dan comedy nya juga masih selalu dapet.
Masalah percintaannya makin kompleks dan penuh salah paham, tapi justru itu yang bikin seru buat diikutin. Alurnya dibawain dengan baik dan chemistry antar karakternya makin menarik. Menurutku episode ini bagus banget, apalagi ada kapal yang mulai berlayar xixixi.
Walaupun mulai ada misteri soal Gundou dan apa yang sebenarnya dia inginkan, ceritanya tetap seru buat disimak. Comedy gold nya juga masih berasa banget dan gak kehilangan identitasnya sebagai romcom yang fun.
Penceritaannya bagus karena seru buat ngikutin gimana awal pertama kali Tomo dan Jun ketemu. Direksi ceritanya rapi dan enak diikuti, animasinya juga bagus. Voice acting dari Rieri juga mantap banget. Cerita di pantainya juga sangat fans service sekalihh.
Pas main dodgeball NGAKAK PARAHHH AWKAWKOAWKOAW. Misaki bener-bener bikin episode ini makin lucu. Direksi ceritanya juga bagus karena hampir di setiap adegan ada aja hal yang bikin ketawa. Comedy nya dapet banget sampe ga kerasa episode nya udah kelarr.
Episode yang sangat menarik. Komedi antara Tomo, Misuzu, dan Carol berasa banget disini. Mereka bertiga punya sifat dan keunikan masing-masing yang bikin setiap interaksi selalu lucu. Ditambah lagi bonding dan shipfuel antara Tomo dan Jun makin nambah terus.
Direksi cerita bener-bener bagus di episode ini. Cerita masa lalu ibu dan ayahnya Tomo juga lucu dan ternyata nyambung banget sama kejadian di masa sekarang. Tomo juga kuat banget jir wkwk. Bonding Gundou dan Carol makin lucu, comedy nya dapet banget. Epik episode.
