Okay, still frustrated with Takemichi because this episode he still hasn’t tried to change things. Instead he chooses to run and gets beaten by others. But at the end of the episode, we finally see Takemichi “planning” something. Such a cliffhanger and can’t wait for the next episode. (This episode quiet light)

The way this show builds tension is already so good by episode 2. Takemichi figuring out the time-leap conditions gives the story real structure. I already know where this is going and I CANNOT WAIT.

time travel and changing the future, but the method looks confusing , everything else was perfect, also It’s a slower pacing anime,

The time-leap rules raise stakes, but it’s Takemichi’s cracked resolve that lands hardest. Bruised, terrified, yet choosing to stand up anyway—this isn’t heroism, it’s stubborn love. Him calling her “Hina” says more than any punch ever could.

This episode solidify where the plot will goes. The audience got a bit of lore about Toman. Unexpectedly, Takemichi proved that he can be counted on when needed, even if he's still scared.

Again i was confused when the episode started. I thought i was repeating episode 1. I think Akkun knows something. (Just a suspicion) Takemichi is finally showing some courage. I think things are going to get interesting soon.

WE’RE SCREAMING. Just when we thought it could be a normal day, past and present collide, emotions explode, and nobody is safe from embarrassment or heartbreak.

Takemichi’s weakness becomes the emotional core. The confrontation with Kiyomasa establishes brutal gang hierarchy. Tension builds through humiliation and desperation. The episode thrives on character vulnerability over spectacle.

Takemichi begins to understand how his time travel ability works, and he faces the Tokyo Manji Gang with full courage. It is an exciting episode that makes you want to see how he will try to change the future.

What an interesting episode, slave vs King, waw some balls on that boy. The animation is really top notch, i applaud them for that.

Our boy realizes he's just a human punching bag for the local squad. He tries to change the future by standing his ground, but he’s a level 1 crook in a level 50 zone. He meets the bosses, Mikey and Draken, and the energy shifts instantly. You Gotta watch

Takemichi begins to grasp the rules of his sudden leap to the past, realizing this isn’t a dream but a mission. As he reconnects with old faces, a pivotal conversation reframes his purpose, turning regret into resolve and setting the groundwork for a risky bid to change fate.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Following the premiere's bombshell introduction of Takemichi's time-leap ability and Hinata's grim fate, 'Resist' functions as the emotional grounding episode — slowing down to establish who Takemichi is in his past life and what he's up against within the Tokyo Manji Gang's orbit. It bridges directly into episode 3, 'Resolve,' where his commitment to changing the timeline faces its first real test. At episode 2 of 24, this is still deep in setup territory, laying the interpersonal groundwork that the entire season will build on.
