Another story progression. Information, conflict, sad and twists all in one episode. Now Takemichi has one goal which is to stop Kisaki as the new target. Kisaki’s name has been mentioned in previous episodes, but this time, Takemichi and Naoto realize it and try to take action in the past before it’s too late.

No matter what happens I'm going to root for our crybaby hero. What happened with Draken is so sad to see. I hate Kisaki already ugh!

SERIOUSLY? THE PAST IS A MONSTER. TEARS, SCREAMS, AND PANIC MODE ACTIVATED. WE ARE RUINED. EMOTIONALLY RUINED.

The fight escalates into emotional devastation. Brotherhood fractures under trauma and buried guilt. The raw vulnerability shown here makes the brutality hit harder. This episode doesn’t just show conflict, it forces you to sit in the pain of broken bonds.

I have lost momentum watching this anime.
Draken ended up in a bad place. In all seriousness, after Takemichi changes the past, don't thing that happen in the past just rotten if HIS past self won't remember anything? So how do anyone relate ore mingle with him? NO SENSE

Must-Watch Episode. The game just leveled up. Toman’s circle gets bigger, but not everyone brings good energy. Our boy can feel something’s off, and the name “Valhalla” starts echoing like a storm warning. The future isn’t just fragile...it’s shifting.

Pivots from grief to strategy. The funeral cements the stakes; Draken on death row exposes the rot. Kisaki isn’t chaos, he’s calculation. Takemichi’s goal levels up: not survival, but takeover. If the poison is at the top, then climb.

Episode 13 kicks off the next arc with a darker, heavier tone. The shift in atmosphere is immediate, and you can feel that things are about to get more complicated. Takemichi’s situation becomes more intense emotionally, and the episode does a great job building suspense.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting exactly at the halfway mark of the 24-episode season, 'Odds and Ends' functions as the critical bridge between the consequences revealed in episode 12's 'Revenge' and the new challenges that emerge in 'Break Up.' The first half's major conflicts have reached a resolution, and this episode processes the fallout while establishing the emotional and strategic foundation for the season's back half. It's the moment where Takemichi's mission fundamentally evolves, making it indispensable for everything that follows.
