There was way too much time spent on that backstory, and this whole episode felt a little off, but at least the relationship between Aoi and Kyouichi is getting better. I think they could've made Ryouichi's character and his attacks much better and turn into an actual threatening enemy, but no, they had to make him a whiny little kid instead.

Yeah.. random. It got a bit better at the end which had some sign of story progression, and perhaps the two new characters are the catalyst for that. But I just can't help but feel like all this action is for nothing. The lightning and crow guy got introduced outta nowhere, we got into their conflict and we had the most useless flashback/backstory of all time. Their presence is currently worthless to the story. Let's not forget the emo dude and the loli that keep appearing - they're supposed to be relevant but they are devoid of character as of now. Just bad guy to bad guy things and somehow these kids want to get into it. Alright.
