The soundtrack definitely helps make the scenes extremely intense. Especially the intro; there was enough going on to make your head spin. The characters look cool, but there's way too much we're expected to just roll with. The animation is decent too, but I hope the pacing gets better. Kyouichi is also my least favourite character already with his problematic dialogue and his behaviour. So, hoping for some character development for him.

Damn, so much going on all around that I don't even know where to begin or look. But the setup for the world and characters is pretty good so far, albeit confusing. And honestly, it does look pretty cool so that has me intrigued. The show definitely looks exactly like it came from the early 2000s, including the sound effects. Sometimes teasing everything doesn't bode very well but if they properly explain things and establish everything with more care and time, perhaps it can be good.
