VerifiedKaneki's torture didn't have to be that detailed, the audience could really feel his agony and even just seeing his feet made it such a hard watch. His torturer was absolutely brutal, and the intensive action in this episode felt so jarring compared to the previous one.

Everyone at Anteiku gathering to go save Kaneki was unexpectedly wholesome, it shows just how far he's come and how many relationships he's made along the way. This episode was brutal with it's gory scenes though..

The most brutal episode I saw so far! I could literally feel the pain mannn!! Everywhere you see, there are clashes, fight and total chaos. The animation during the rooftop fights is top-tier. Seeing the "One Eyed Owl" was banger and Kaneki’s torture is almost too much to watch. So high stakes! Op episode 🙌

A lot of stress in this episode between Kaneki still being in captivity, which was not focused on this episode, the multiple fights going on, and the appearance of the one-eyed owl.

Hinami hugging her bear when scared? Too pure for this world 😭. Animation on her teary eyes heartbreaking. Atmosphere innocent and tragic. Got attached to her so fast, protect her at all costs.

This one is brutal. Not flashy brutal. Psychological brutal. You can feel the breaking point approaching. It’s uncomfortable in a way that makes you look away but you can’t stop watching 😔

Total chaos. It’s a three-way royal rumble between the Ghouls, the CCG, and the Aogiri mob. While everyone is throwing hands outside, our boy is trapped in a room with a psychopath and a pair of pliers. The psychological pressure is at a literal breaking point.

I was completely hooked this episode! I must say, Kaneki’s resilience is insane. Touka’s determination, Ayato and the CCG in different battles perfectly put together—the mix of action and teamwork made more tension. And the cliffhanger- must watch the next EP ASAP!
