This episode definitely feels like a turning point in terms of changes in plot direction and trajectory. The CCG get closer to the truth on the "eyepatch-ghoul", and Kaneki seems to be making waves/plans to return home. His interaction with Touka was tense but so fitting

Damnn the build-up and actual appearance of Kaneki at Anteiku was so unexpected, like literally came out of left-field. The build in anticipation with Hinami and Tsukiyama earlier felt well placed after that sequence. In retrospect, he changed so much from season 1

Tsukiyama's return to Anteiku was a little unexpected, but the series' reintroduction of him was the same as always though, he's just as weird as before 💔but honestly he'll probably help a ton when it comes to plot mysteries and progression.
