I feel like the charm of this series' first season is disappearing, there's a lack of mystery and intrigue because of how little they do with Kaneki's reveal, and the worsened narrative weight of the world and living situation of the characters which kept the series tense.

Stagnant episode, just affirms the police's stance on Aogiri tree and doesn't do much of anything with the main group (Anteiku or Aogiri) + what they're up to. Since the new characters were so suddenly introduced, I found it hard to like them as well.

Not much happens in this episode, it mostly focuses on the human investigators rather than the ghouls, which I could care less for honestly.
