EPISODE REVIEWS

The episode was a bit slow but it works a prelude for something I think is going to be a big chapter, I hope so. I liked the reflect of the dilemma of inequality our society has to face everyday, few animes do it these days.

The contrast between the districts is very well highlighted through the direction art. The pacing is creating a solid tension but the writing handles a complex social commentary with a heavy approach.

I really didn't expect the end of the episode and truly hope Shuta, Koki, and Ran will find a solution that won't be heartbreaking. The mysterious Carneades seems to want nothing but chaos at this point. Let's see where this story goes.
