Senna’s introduction feels like it belongs in an entirely different anime 💀. This is probably one of the strangest episodes so far, but also one of the most memorable because it fully embraces the chaos of the series

The web escape scene is peak “anime trying to mix comedy with trauma” LOL it’s awkward, chaotic, and somehow still stressful. Tonally weird? Yes. Weirdly memorable? Also yes

This episode really said “what if denial got punched directly in the face” 😭 Futaba finally realizes Shocker isn’t roleplay and the tone gets way darker because of it. The psychological breakdown afterward honestly hits harder than the actual fight????

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 24-episode run, Episode 14 serves as a deliberate cooldown after Episode 13's intense Shocker confrontation, redirecting energy toward Futaba's internal conflict and her shifting worldview. This introspective pivot is critical groundwork, by examining belief and denial now, the series positions its characters for the new dynamics and escalating challenges introduced in Episode 15, 'The Masked Idol, Heavy Chop.' It's a classic mid-season recalibration that trades momentum for depth to fuel the back half.
