It's getting interesting, we keep getting the past also about Nene and Hanako's relationship. The mysteries about the plot is dug deeper.

Episode Context

Coming off the emotionally charged Mitsuba arc, which explored the cost of supernatural entanglements, episode 9 deliberately shifts gears by introducing key new players and expanding the world beyond Hanako's immediate circle. Positioned at the three-quarter mark of a 12-episode season, 'Tea Party' serves as a critical bridge, closing the mid-season character work and laying essential groundwork for the darker 'Hell of Mirrors' arc that drives the final stretch. Expect this episode to reframe what you thought the season's endgame was about.
