Yeahhh, I guess Ren does feel a little bit bland at the start of the show. He's there entirely for comedic purpose, but then again, I'm not expecting character depth in a romcom anime clearly geared towards ecchi gratification. Not that it has much fanservice too though...
Well, definitely better than the rival showcased in the previous episode. Ren is actually pretty cool, even though he seems to be a bit... extra. The epic fights being replaced with fan service was kinda funny lol. This episode was actually pretty fun compared to the heavy fanservice ones.Quite a surprise at the end there too lol
Lala's childhood friend came to her school. Rito's rival. The episode felt boring— it stretched the manly thing too much. Overall, you can skip it. 6/10.
