EPISODE REVIEWS

If you're not familiar with Japanese folklore and samurai stuff, none of the jokes in this episode will land. Putting Saruyama on the spotlight for a filler episode is fine and all, but the jokes and trope being used is getting repetitive or obsucre, taking the fun and joy out of it.

If you thought any of the previous episodes were fever dreams, they're nothing in comparison to this one. This one has Saruyama in the spotlight, and unfortunately, he has a disease of receiving attention from the beings he doesn't want attention from. The voice actors did sound like they had a lot of fun switching up their lines a bit, but this episode felt awfully repetitive and kinda unfunny.

The episode is a standalone filler, with Saruyama taking the lead. A daydreaming samurai world.Overall — can skip, 6/10
