Anime in 2008 was wild man, can't imagine what the blu-ray version looked like lmao. Jokes aside, while I'm not a stranger to romcom/ecchi anime, To-Love Ru is up there among the OG of the genre and honestly? I can see why considering the level of animation they achieved in this era was crazy even if they did use it to animate dem jiggles! I would say episode one is full of cliché, but considering the airing year, To Love-Ru IS the origin of said cliché for future animes.
