The never ending plot twist is honestly gripping me. I love Xia Qing. Her and her brother are the candy to my eyes. I love how she works as symbol for Yang Chen's insecurity, never once he have the guts to ask her out. It's refreshing to know she's not blindly supporting him.

PLOT TWIST AFTER PLOT TWIST in this episode is absolutely crazy, the story background keeps giving me Shiver, and so many scenes have deep meaning. Sad and anger really hit as the main points here😭

The duel is insane, but the writing is even better. It’s a gritty look at how revenge blinds you. The animation during the fight is movie-quality, and that final reveal will leave you questioning everything.

I’m so hyped but also so confused about who actually won. The manipulation is next level. I didn't see it coming at all. It’s chaotic, dark and the 3D to 2D animation is just flawless. What an episode!

With the events of the last episode fresh on his mind, Yang Cheng is fully committed to becoming the new Esoul no matter the cost, even if it destroys the only bond he has left. This episode is one of the darkest yet.

Really dark episode right from the start that also cover Yang Cheng social relation after the incident and made the episode feel darker and sad. The fight scene this episode is the best one yet and worth watching alone. Very unsettling ending though but overall great episode.

This is my favorite episode of the second arc. The reveal of the twist villain at the end was a masterpiece- I didn't expect it at all, but it made so much sense the moment I saw it. And how everything came full circle, from being saved to the murder of a hero? Incredible work.

Unexpected deaths plus the whole plot feels really deep and dark at the same time. Can't wait to see where this leads.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the quarter-mark of a 24-episode run, 'Three Seats' serves as the culmination of the E-Soul Arc that built momentum through Episode 6's 'Two E-Souls,' where Yang Cheng's trajectory began shifting dramatically. This episode closes out that arc's central conflicts before the series pivots — Episode 8, 'The Cyan Girl,' introduces new characters and storylines that transition into the next narrative phase. It's a critical hinge point: resolving what came before while reshaping the board for everything ahead.
