New arc starts with a smart and cute little girl named Loli, she really reminds me of Iron Man vibes. The story and narrative are very interesting in this episode, and the animation is still consistently good. A very good start for a new story.

Tough Girl’s Iron Man-inspired suit is so sick. I love how this episode balances high-octane mech action with strong themes of femininity and character development. The pacing is great and it's awesome to see the female heroes take center stage.

Loli’s introduction is so fun yet high stakes! Her tough girl persona masks so much depth and the animation during her fights is getting better and better. I’m so glad she found a genuine friendship with NuoNuo.

The next arc stars Loli, this world's version of Iron Man. The episode's themes follow and expand on those from the last arc, focusing on feminism and inequality in the workplace. It's a pretty good start to the arc and a solid introduction to the new character.

The fifth arc in it starts pretty good. I love how it flips the underestimated hero trope, pairing Luo Li’s drive with sharp action. It gives an 'Iron man origin' vibes but with cute girl formula. It is a bit slow but carefully hints Luo Li's motives. It's a good intro episode.

Fifth arc, and OH MY GOD this dragged me back in. Luo Li is one of my favorite characters. Oh, it was wonderful to see how trust affected her, and how being cute made it hard for her to get others to take her seriously. A genius, but at first everyone treated her a little girl.

Fun and crazy episode with new characters on the focus. Love the interaction between the two new characters and the new hero outfit the current main character has

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting dead center at episode 13 of 24, 'Tough Girl' marks a deliberate narrative pivot after the events of 'Fall of the Star,' where Queen's significant setback left a power vacuum in the story. Loli's introduction here plants the seeds for her arc and directly sets up the next episode, 'Impromptu Counterattack,' suggesting her journey escalates quickly from origin to action.
