I can't with this anime, it's too cute! I love how educational Japan can make anime sometimes! The Hell Lord being a family man while looking so evil is just gold! The princess is being less and less treated as a prisoner, she hangs out with the demons as friends. Wholesome!

The demon lord's uncharacteristic remarks while having the face of the villain always gets me laughing. I especially love his reaction when he was not chosen by Maomao. The integration of the princess to the castle dynamics is very wholesome and well paced. Demon queen is pretty.

I'm amazed that this continues to be an enjoyable watch, largely due to the silly comedy. The minivan scene is hilarious 🤣 I truly love how caring the demon lord is as a father. Another enjoyable and heartwarming episode.

Episode Context

Sitting at the season's midpoint, Episode 7 serves as a deliberate cooldown after Episode 6's evaluation-focused events, giving the cast room to breathe in personal, leisurely scenarios. It reinforces the character bonds that the series has been steadily building across its first half. This breather positions the audience for Episode 8, which pivots back toward structured challenges with an upcoming examination arc.
