Now this is an original take for an anime, loved it! The animation is simply beautiful and the comedy is up there. I was smiling the entire episode! I love that the demons decided to hit the princess' weak spot: food! The friendly ghoul preparing meals was the best touch for me!

What a great way to start the anime. The quick lore and world building at the start was short but did not feel lacking. The reactions of the princes to the food was top notch and very relatable. Great quality of animation, especially the food, and engaging soundtrack.

This kicked off with a pretty impressive scene as Hime held her sword high in front of her people. The OP song is also very catchy, combining action sequences with cartoonish moments. Clearly, this anime has comedy, and in this episode, we experienced the food "torture."

Man, this first episode is such a genius twist on the fantasy captive trope!. The "torture" is actually hilarious. Who knew gourmet snacks could be so threatening? The animation on the food is amazing!

The concept is actually pretty funny and different from typical fantasy. The food looks way too good for a comedy.

The first episode delivers deceptively lighthearted approach to interrogation, turning everyday comforts into psychological weapons. It introduces the Princess as disciplined yet relatable, her resolve crumbling under simple temptations. Animation quality remains consistent.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As episode one of twelve, this premiere exists purely to establish the show's comedic engine: Princess Hime is captured, the Hellhorde 'tortures' her with irresistible temptations, and the cycle repeats with escalating absurdity. There's no prior context needed — the episodic structure means this first outing sets the formula that the remaining eleven episodes will riff on and expand. Early impressions here will largely determine whether the show's one-joke premise has enough legs for a full season.
