Sakura broke my heart in minutes — she accepted her fate so peacefully, The metal puzzle segment hit different knowing Hime had no friends. But those rabbits?? Absolute chaos agents, Season 2 keeps delivering the feels AND the laughs!

Oh how much I love the new character so much. The way she knew the mission was hopeless but accepted it knowing it would be her downfall. Furthermore, the way she's talking about her friend was so heartbreaking :( Not to mention, she was so ready for her death and was so grateful she at least had a nice meal at the end like ughh she's tugging on my heartstrings!! Another thing I like to add is the way Inki was so determined to make a metal puzzle for the princess is genuinely so sweet. She, Gilda and Youki are so willing to help to make a metal puzzle that is strong enough so that the princess can play with it. Their friendship is sooo cute! The mvp of this episode though are definitely the rabbits. They really be stealing everyone's heart!

New faces, new torture methods, and the chaos keeps stacking. The oni duo and the beast tamer are genuinely fun additions. Princess somehow holding it together until she absolutely doesn't. Classic formula, fresh energy.

The metal puzzle torture segment was genuinely sad because Hime couldn’t solve it since she never had friends to play with as a kid 😭 I would’ve been her friend! I also had never even heard of them so that was new for me, but Hime trying to destroy it with her sword was GOLD

Delivers on its promise every episode. The formula is reliable and season 2 knows it.

Another solid episode. The gags are still fresh and I was laughing throughout.

THE INTERACTIONS THIS EPISODE WERE ABSOLUTELY SENDING ME. THE BANTER AND THE ENERGY IS UNMATCHED.

A fresh wrinkle gets thrown into the usual routine and it works really well. The rabbit element adds a layer of chaos that the show uses perfectly. The dynamic between the Princess and her torturer feels even more comfortable this season.

New character Sakura is introduced, and with a little bit of narrative weight. Props for the writer to not directly shove her as a torturer.

The tandem 'torture' from 1st episode is also here, now with different pair, but still wholesome. For sure there'll be more later.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 1's birthday cake-themed opener, this second episode continues establishing Season 2's rhythm and potentially expands the cast with new characters suggested by the 'Intruder' in the title. It's still early-season territory — the show is settling viewers back into its episodic gag structure before any larger comedic arcs develop across the remaining ten episodes. Expect foundational world-building disguised as pure silliness.
