The fight choreography in this episode is wild. Yakumo dealing with Shishido's chained sickle using just bare hands and spatial awareness kept me on the edge of my seat. Pacing in this episode is good.
As the plot progresses, the pacing of this episode feels well timed and steady, surrounding the narrative with engaging astute skirmishes and a deeper emotional focus on the characters that subtly underscores their shared goals. Nevertheless, despite this immersive progress, the dense dialogue still causes the episode to languish at times.
In this episode, we see the main plot and subplots advance, with everyone searching for Yakumo. Musashi and Shiori are both looking for him; he wants to fight him, while she seeks him out to protect her uncle. It's a well-paced episode with some dialogue, a few action and battle scenes, and a touch of emotion. It's canon within the story and quite entertaining to watch.
