Ryoma talking about his naval dreams while Izumi demonstrates effortless barehanded counters gives this arc such a distinctive, exciting rhythm. This episode has great pacing and worldbuilding.
You can distinguish a slightly different vibe from the characters featured in this episode, as there is a noticeable uniqueness to the flow of the story despite the fairly typical setup tropes, which I find good and interesting. Furthermore, the pacing remains recognizably slow as usual. Nevertheless, the new characters remain very intriguing.
An exciting episode, an epic battle between Sakamoto and Izumi, where we see the skills of each one, it is a fast-paced canon episode within the story, there are deep conversations and a bit of romance between Sanako and Sakamoto, the plot of the third arc begins to develop and along the way we see two formidable opponents that we will surely learn more about later.
