Takato fighting against legendary swordsmanship while carrying the mutsu name makes this one of the best duels in the entire season. This episode is unforgettable from start to finish.
Much like the previous episode, the pacing during the fight scenes maintains a similar energy. Even though the combat itself is very engaging, the slow execution somewhat dulls the momentum of the narrative. Nevertheless, this loss of momentum is well redeemed by highly unexpected turns of events that are both shocking and deeply heartbreaking.
An exciting chapter from beginning to end, fast-paced and canon within the story, we reach the second phase of the tournament, where we see new matchups and a great battle for victory. Along the way, we see new revelations about techniques, Tsubara's subplot continues to develop, and Takato will have to make a difficult decision. Quite entertaining to watch.
