And so, the Maverick Incident reaches its conclusion. It’s the dawn of a new era now! There are some loose threads here and there (probably for the charas to deal with in the next season), but overall, this is a satisfying finale. Datte, boku wa anata no aibou desu kara~💚❤!

Synopsis
Sternbild City is protected by individuals known as "Next," who possess extraordinary abilities and use them to fight crime as superheroes. Their heroic deeds are broadcast on "Hero TV," a popular program that awards points and sponsor logos to the heroes. Each year, the program crowns the "King of Heroes" based on a ranking system. Wild Tiger, a seasoned hero, has always preferred working solo. However, he is unexpectedly paired with Barnaby Brooks Jr., a rookie hero with a contrasting approach to superheroism. The series explores their partnership and the challenges they face as they navigate the world of televised heroism.

Uh, what should this be called… an Aibou’s Quarrel? LOL. It’s dramatic, it’s emotional, it’s cheesy AS HELL. But IT WORKS. The sincere voice acting coupled with the sunset backdrop truly sells the whole dusk-before-the-dawn energy. Time for the heroes to face their darkest night!
