This episode is a massive emotional pivot that really lets the tension simmer. Seeing Setsu struggle with his identity while the ensemble cast gets their moment to shine feels like the "calm before the storm" we actually needed.

The directing is superb. You can feel the cold and beauty of the snow flurries in every note by Soichi and Mai. It shows that the Shamisen is not just a piece of music, but a journey of the soul. Their dedication to their art is inspiring.
