Man, this episode was a total gut punch. The tension during the Koshigaya festival is unreal, and seeing Setsu finally grapple with his grandfather’s shadow gave me chills.

The impact of this episode is immense. You can feel the weight of Wind from the mountains. The pressure of legacy and the challenge of the new generations. The animation is brilliant with the intensity of each plectrum strike. The art of the Shamisen has truly been taken to a new.
