There is more mystery and slight of action.

This episode gave out a great revelation thanks to Ayame. But I must say her backstory was a bit sad. Anyway~ aside from this one. Shiori is giving cold shoulders to Hinako for some reasons unknown. I'm guessing there's gonna be another relevation on the next epsiode.

Episode Context

Positioned just past the midpoint at episode 8 of 13, this builds directly on the deepening relationships established in episode 7's 'Kind People,' weaponizing that earned intimacy by introducing fractures of doubt and supernatural menace. It functions as a critical turning point where the series begins peeling back layers of hidden truth, setting the stage for episode 9's 'A Burned-In Prayer' and the escalating conflicts of the final act.
