One of the best episodes in this series featuring the most mature member of the Yuzuki family, Gakuto. The visuals aside, the excellent direction and music made this episode endear the series to me even more.

This episode was really enjoyable, especially with how Gakuto was portrayed. Even though he’s the youngest, he’s surprisingly smart, thoughtful, and caring toward his older brothers. His way of observing things felt mature. I also really liked Mr. Kirishima and how genuinely he wanted to help everyone.

Episode Context

Episodes 1-2 established the Yuzuki household dynamic and gave Minato and Mikoto their character-defining moments; episode 3 continues this rotating-spotlight structure by grounding viewers in Gakuto's perspective and emotional stakes. Sitting at the quarter mark of a 12-episode season, this installment deepens the ensemble foundation before episode 4, 'Hayato's Happiness,' rounds out the individual brother introductions. The series is clearly building a cumulative emotional understanding of each sibling before weaving their arcs together.
