Episode Context

Following Episode 2's deepening of Oniyasha's awareness of how lived experience shapes dance, Episode 3 tests that developing sensitivity against the demands of a major public performance. It marks a turning point from private discovery and troupe intimacy toward the broader artistic and social world surrounding the Kanze troupe. Sitting at roughly the quarter-mark of the 13-episode season, it lays the groundwork for the larger tensions around identity, rivalry, and purpose that will likely define the episodes ahead.
