EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 8 is the penultimate chapter of the Demon Sword arc, building directly on the Paladin Corps confrontation introduced in Episode 7 and pushing every major player toward a breaking point. At the two-thirds mark of a 12-episode season, this is the arc reaching critical mass before its resolution. It feeds directly into Episode 9, 'The Witch and the Demon Sword: Final Act,' where the consequences of these confrontations are set to fully detonate.
