Synopsis
Burning with rage and trapped under a witch's curse, Guideau is a feral girl with beast-like eyes and only one goal: find the witch and make her pay. To do that, she partners with Ashaf, a calm, well-dressed mage who literally carries a coffin on his back, and no, they don't explain that right away. The two work for the Order of Magical Resonance, an organization that handles magical incidents across a dark, steampunk-tinged world. In exchange for Guideau's help solving cases involving witches and cursed towns, the Order agrees to help track down the one who cursed her. The dynamic between these two is the core of the whole thing. Guideau is violent, impulsive, and barely restrained. Ashaf is measured and secretive. They shouldn't work together, but they do, and watching them navigate towns plagued by magic, complete with an intricate system of rune-based 'Lettering' and large-scale magical disasters called 'Paranomena', gives the show a procedural edge layered over its revenge plot. This is a 12-episode TV series from 2024, adapted from a seinen manga, and the tone leans hard into dark fantasy with real gore. If you liked the grimy supernatural world of Dorohedoro, the monster-hunting atmosphere of Claymore, or the violent style of Hellsing Ultimate, this fits right in that space. It doesn't hold your hand, and it doesn't soften its edges.

Es un capitulo de flashback donde podemos ver como se unió nuestro dúo.
vemos tensión entre compañeros. Vemos a Angela , pero siento que tiene un corte un poco abrupto este episodio .
Unión por un bien común . Me gusta cuando Guideau usa el arma y podemos ver que en realidad ambas son armar que fueron selladas.

En este episodio tenemos el dilema etico y emocional de no saber soltar a los seres queridos y le da un toque mas emocional y oscuro a la trama.
Se amplia el mundo de la brujeria a la nigromancia y su origen .La ambientación es realmente hermosa mostrando esa oscuridad
se termina con las sospechas y claves del episodio anterior y se llega a un resultado inesperado y un poco triste.
Flashback y vuelta al presente para que nuestros personajes tengan un nuevo viaje . espero hagan una segunda temporada.
Episodio de transición con un ritmo un poco mas leve donde profundiza mas en el mundo y sus reglas. me gusta ver la dinámica contraria entre los dos
Ame la estética gótica de esta hermosa animación, los personajes interesantes . Tengo muchas expectativas en este dúo.
The way the characters are written is so good you actually feel anger at their actions. Those poor kids suffered horribly just because of human greed, it's sickening :( Guideau and Ashaf’s dynamic throughout their time together is so fun to watch though. I can't wait to see what season 2 holds
We finally get Guideau and Ashaf’s backstory. We also get to learn more about magic and witches! The real action doesn't happen till near the end, the cliffhanger is brutal though
This episode has an uncomfortable atmosphere but it has worldbuilding and a lot of relevant information for the story. It's worth the watch, it's tense and the witch this episode is quite infuriating. There's some foreshadowing as well
The amount of control and power Guideau and Ashaf posess is chilling. This was quite the spectacle to put their abilities out in the open after the trials they faced previously. It makes you curious as to what they'll face next
This episode is full of twists and tragic events. Is this the beginning of a horrific end or the chance for us to see more of Guideau’s potential? I can't wait to watch the next episode! The ambiance holds through every episode making it hard to stop watching
This episode was heartbreaking and tense. Poor Helga just wanted her happily ever after :( Watching Ashaf predict the twist was cool and Guideau’s always there to be the unpredictable comic relief adding depth to the action scenes
This episode had lots of action and I'm sure we’re only gearing up for more. Ashaf’s chill demeanor is refreshing throughout the fast action and dark themes. The ambiance is also on point, sucking you deep into the story. I can't wait to learn more about the mystery witch!
