Episode 4 is the best action episode of the series so far. The battle with the White Rose Knights delivers on the setup, Ike's internal conflict reaches a new level of tension, and Alistair emerges as a genuinely compelling rival. The animation is still weak, and the CG is still rough, but the writing and emotional stakes carry the episode. If you've been waiting for the show to deliver on its premise, this is the episode that does it.
