Arata’s face strongly resembles Kazuya’s from Rent-a-Girlfriend. Since they share the same creator, I suspect this season might lean into the same slow pacing without many major developments..

Episode Context

The dust hasn't settled from Episode 1's bombshell, and Episode 2 leans right into the awkward, complicated aftermath. Expect Doga Kobo delivering what they do best: sharp comedic timing layered over genuinely tender character moments. The episode shifts between lighthearted reactions and quieter, more emotionally honest beats as Arata and his sisters each process what their new reality means. The comedy here isn't deflection, it's how these characters naturally cope. Pacing stays character-driven rather than plot-heavy, giving space for the sibling dynamics to breathe and start reshaping in real time. If Episode 1 was the detonation, this is the first look at the crater. The romance genre tag starts making itself felt as boundaries blur and the siblings navigate unfamiliar emotional territory. A strong early-season foundation episode.
