Episode Context

Doga Kobo kicks off this rom-com with a classic family ensemble introduction, dropping viewers straight into the chaotic orbit of the Shiunji household. The premiere revolves around Arata, the eldest son navigating life among five younger sisters who are each talented, attractive, and absolutely exhausting. Expect a breezy, character-driven opener that prioritizes establishing personalities and sibling chemistry over any heavy plot machinery. The comedy leans into Arata's internal monologue and his reactions to the sisters' relentless energy, while the romance genre tag hints at complications lurking beneath the family dynamic. Pacing is relaxed and confident, giving each sibling room to make an impression without rushing. The episode's title, 'What If...?', signals that the series has a provocative premise it's not afraid to tease from the jump. A strong mood-setter.
