📖 SYNOPSIS
Smack-dab in the middle of a climactic showdown with the big bad, Red Ranger Tōgo Asagaki and his five-person sentai team are fighting for everything — until an explosion yeets him into a generic fantasy world. Except Tōgo doesn't care that it's a fantasy world. He's still doing the poses, still shouting the attack names, still trying to summon his giant mecha — and somehow it all still works. Six months in, he's made a name for himself as an adventurer who fights dragons with henshin transformations instead of magic, and nobody in this world knows what to do with him. He teams up with Yihdra, a young mage from a fallen noble family trying to restore her family's name, and the two start taking on quests together. She's calculating and methodical; he solves every problem by being an absurdly earnest sentai hero. The comedy writes itself. This 12-episode TV series from Satelight leans hard into the clash between tokusatsu logic and isekai fantasy rules, and it works because Tōgo never once questions whether he should still be doing superhero stuff. He just does it. If you liked KonoSuba's approach to poking fun at isekai conventions, this has similar energy but swaps the dysfunctional party dynamic for a guy who genuinely believes justice speeches make him stronger. Fans of GATE's "modern capabilities meet fantasy world" setup will find a goofier, more character-driven version of that concept here. It's action-packed and comedic in equal measure, and at 12 episodes it doesn't overstay its welcome.
