Episode Context

Following the premiere's showcase of Ryoma's prodigious skill, this second episode grounds him in the Seishun Academy setting and begins building the ensemble cast that will drive the series forward. It bridges the flashy introduction into the core early-season narrative, Ryoma earning his place among the school's tennis regulars. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into the upcoming intra-school ranking matches, where these freshly introduced relationships will be tested under competitive pressure.
