Episode Context

As episode 1 of 178, this is purely foundational, it introduces Ryoma Echizen and the world he's stepping into before any team dynamics or rivalries take shape. There's no prior context needed; everything starts here. The next episode, 'Samurai Junior,' begins integrating Ryoma into Seishun Academy's tennis club, where the real competitive journey and ensemble cast development kick into gear.
