This is Prince of Tennis fully embracing supernatural tennis warfare haha. The animation is not always spectacular, but the match has enough pressure and emotion to keep it from becoming empty power-up spam. When the franchise locks into this level of dramatic nonsense, it can feel pretty peak.

The episode focuses on the gap between Japan's representatives and the world's elite, emphasizing that raw talent alone isn't enough to succeed. The training and exchanges between players feel purposeful, giving the cast opportunities to learn and evolve.

I really liked the soundtrack during Kazuya and Seiichi's match because most of it sounded really catchy and make each scene feel even more impactful. Their match kept me invested to keep watching more as they faced one challenge after another against Jurgen. Seiichi's scenes were easily the highlight of the episode for me because it gave more insight to his character during his match.
