This kicks the tournament energy into gear fast, with dramatic tennis moves and familiar faces making every point feel huge. The pacing can be a little rushed, but the show has so much confidence that it is hard not to enjoy it. It is already throwing absurd techniques around like it never left, and honestly that is a W.

The episode does a great job building anticipation, introducing the international atmosphere, and showing that Japan will be facing incredibly tough competition from the very beginning.
