📖 SYNOPSIS
"Ocean Waves" follows the high school lives of Morisaki Taku and Matsuno Yutaka in Kochi, Japan. Their friendship is challenged by the arrival of Muto Rikako, a girl from Tokyo who transfers to their school. Rikako's aloofness and exclusion from group activities earn her a reputation as a snob. Matsuno harbors a crush on Rikako, and his feelings are complicated when she and Morisaki begin to spend time together. This budding connection between Morisaki and Rikako fuels gossip and rumors throughout the school. Despite the speculation, Morisaki maintains that there is nothing romantic between him and Rikako. The story explores themes of friendship, jealousy, and the complexities of teenage relationships.
