Synopsis
In a quiet coastal town, Mizuho Nishino fills her days drawing manga, alongside the four childhood friends who've been by her side forever. Then one of them, Kizuki, the swimmer of the group, confesses on her 17th birthday, and suddenly the whole dynamic shifts. Mizuho's never thought about any of them that way, and now she has to figure out her own feelings while trying not to blow up the friend group. You know how that goes. If you liked the warmth of Fruits Basket or the friend-group chemistry of Ouran High School Host Club, this one hits a similar nerve, just with a more modern, melancholic edge.

This series is genuinely mind boggling, and it’s not necessarily in a good way either. I’m not particularly sure if it’s because the friendship arc is blown out of proportion or that MC is just emotionally constipated, it’s like she can’t properly emote her feelings, dragging it.
Kizuki’s actions were freaking hot and made your heart skip a beat. Meanwhile, the other three boys slowly showcased their affection toward Mizuki. This will make you feel like you’re in a time machine, bringing you back to your high school moments with your crush.
Kizuki really shot his shot, as he was focused on proving himself to Mizuho and making her heart race. On the other hand, Shin started to feel uneasy whenever Kizuki and Mizuho were together. Will this be the start of their rivalry?
Shin starts to make his move and show his affection toward Mizuho. Watching his expressions and actions gives you butterflies in your stomach. Meanwhile, Kizuki’s actions were too bold that make us wish to find someone like him.
In the past episode, Mizuho’s editor always mentioned that she didn’t realize how dazzling her youth was. Her former editor was exactly right, especially when tension arose after Shogu’s brother returned. However, the storyline in this episode shows too many side stories.
This episode is mind-blowing, as Shin slowly reveals his emotions towards Mizuho. This shows Shin's maturity, as he's trying to express himself while still giving respect towards their friendship. Watch if you're Team Shin; skip if you're Team Kizuki.
Episode 12: Shin and Kizuki’s rivalry over Mizuho adds fun tension, while Mizuho discovering the manga competition results brings excitement and anticipation. It’s lighthearted, charming, and keeps you smiling.
