The revenge plot continues, but man, plot twist after plot twist 😅 I don't know what to expect, but you'll be eager for the next scene. Should warn you guys about violence; they didn't show the scenes, but the aftereffects were 😮

The massacre here was visually overwhelming. Adonis doesn't even look like a hero here but more so of a villain. And honestly, I wouldn't mind watching our MC as the villain. The animation here was so good, the action and the scale of destruction was just grand. The pacing here was fast and definitely left a mark.

Dam! This anime is balsy, they aren't pulling any punches. I loved that the antagonist's motives are plausible instead of being evil for evil sake

Episode Context

The Kingdoms of Ruin shifts into a darker, more volatile gear with its second episode. Where the premiere established the world and its brutal persecution of witches, 'Heavenly Fire' channels that setup into raw, furious momentum. Adonis takes center stage as a man consumed by vengeance, and the episode leans hard into that rage with high-intensity action sequences and an unrelenting dramatic tone. The conflict between magic and science sharpens, and the introduction of Doroka provides a crucial counterbalance to the otherwise bleak trajectory. Expect moral complexity rather than simple good-versus-evil framing, the show is interested in what retribution costs, not just what it destroys. The pacing is aggressive, the atmosphere is heavy, and the stakes feel personal. This is an early-season episode that commits fully to its dark premise without hesitation.
